School Advisory Council (SAC)

The School Advisory Council is a voluntary, advisory body of school administrators, parents and parishioners that advise on the operation of the educational programs at All Saints Catholic School. Applications are currently being taken for the 2017-18 school year. Click here to apply.

As a satellite of the Dallas Diocesan School Council, subject to its policies and regulations, the SAC meets monthly and may advise on all aspects of the formal educational programs of All Saints Catholic School (ASCS).  A partial list of duties and functions include:

  • Adherence to state goals and indicators for Catholic education in Texas
  • Interpret and be accountable for adherence to the policies of the Diocese as enunciated in the school handbook
  • Foster a strong faith community among themselves and share the same with the parish community
  • Serve as the local committee in the planning and building of new educational facilities
  • Assume fiscal management to the degree shared with them in formulating budgets and analyzing annual fiscal reports
  • Evaluate the implementation of policies
